Alessandro Summer

Alessandro is a physicist from Piacenza, Italy. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Pavia with honors in 2019 and 2021, respectively. During his B.Sc., he discovered the field of Quantum Technologies, which led him to pursue his M.Sc. thesis at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) under the supervision of Dario Gerace (UNIPV) and Vincenzo Savona (EPFL). In November 2021, Alessandro joined QuSys as a PhD candidate. His current focus is on rethinking algorithms for many-body physics, employing quantum subtasks to explore new hybrid approaches.
