Gabriel T. Landi

Gabriel T. Landi is a professor of theoretical physics at the University of São Paulo, and leader of the Quantum Thermodynamics and Quantum Transport (QT2) group. His main research interests are in open quantum systems, with applications to quantum thermodynamics and quantum transport. He is a pioneer in the use of quantum optical tools for characterising the second law of thermodynamics in quantum coherent experiments. He also made significant contributions to the use of collision models to describe the thermodynamics of open quantum system dynamics.
