Nathan Keenan

Nathan completed his bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Maynooth University. He then received IRC funding to complete a Research Masters in the area of Bethe Ansatz integrable systems also at Maynooth, under the supervision of Dr. Masud Haque. The work involved calculation methods for overlaps in the Lieb Linger model quenched from a certain class of initial states, along with entanglement entropy calculations for Bethe states. In 2021, he received the IBM-Trinity Pre-Doc award in order to carry out a PhD with QuSys under the supervision of Prof. John Goold. His work is on the compilation of quantum circuits for the purpose of quantum simulations.
